  • DR. DENIS MUKWEGE

    A Pentecostal pastor and founder of the Panzi Hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Dr. Denis Mukwege has committed his life to human rights activism through treating thousands of women who were victims of rape. As most of the patients coming to Mukwege's hospital came from conflict zones, he wanted to provide healing through medicine while speaking against sexual violence. After years of dedicating his service, among many other awards, he was granted the Nobel Peace Prize in 2018 for his efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict.

    Dr. Ivan Satyavtata serves as a Senior Pastor and Chairman of the Assembly of God Church and Mission, Kolkata. He has lived in Kolkata with his wife and family for 14 years.

  • DR. CARRI JO TIMMER, DO

    Dr. Carri Jo Timmer practices at Community Health Care’s Hilltop Regional Health Center as a Family Medicine Residency Director. Licensed by the Washington State Department of Health as an Osteopathic Physician and Surgeon, Timmer provides medical care to patients of all ages. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, and the Washington Osteopathic Medical Association.
